Arthur Murray Dance Studios is a full time dance studio open Monday to Friday from 10am till 10pm and Saturdays from 10am till 6pm so you can start your dance lessons as soon as you would like. All lessons are 45 minutes just give the studio a call to make your booking.
Not at all, a lot of our students learn "one on one" with an instructor and even our couples often take lessons on their own to develop different areas of their dancing.
All private and group lessons are 45 minutes long. Approximately 40 minutes of dancing followed by a 5 minute review with your dance instructor of everything you have learned in the lesson.
Yes, you can bring anyone you like just make sure you inform the person booking the lesson just in case there is another instructor free to take both people.
Arthur Murray Dance Studios have never come across anyone who can't learn to dance and because all lessons are tailored around you and your needs you will learn to dance at the pace that is right for you.
Although private lessons are the main part of your instruction program we strongly recommend that you use the group lessons and practice parties to become a well rounded social dancer. Whether you take group lessons or not, remember they are included in the cost of your program.
At Arthur Murray Dance Studios we teach primarily from private lessons and use the group lessons to solidify what you have done on your privates, so no you can't just take group classes.
Typically we have from 5 to 15 participants per group. Group classes are used to solidify what you have covered on your private lessons and there are multiple levels of groups including beginners, general variety, Bronze and styling.
The length of the course depends on how many dances you would like to learn and how proficient you would like to become in each dance. However, you will be able to dance after your first dance lesson.
The cost depends on a number of factors: how good you want to be; what dances you want to learn; the number of days and weeks in your dance schedule, etc. Your first lesson is free. After your first lesson, your instructor will be in a better position to recommend a program and you will have the knowledge to make an intelligent and informed choice.
There are several methods of payment available. If you prefer, you can budget the fee in small installments or use any major credit card.
