When can I start?
Arthur Murray Hampton operates from Monday to Friday, between 10am and 9pm, and every other Saturday from 10am to 2pm, providing you with the flexibility to begin your dance lessons at your convenience. Each lesson lasts for 45 minutes, so feel free to contact the studio to schedule your booking.
Do I need a partner to learn to dance?
Rest assured, we have an instructor available to assist you. The studio offers dance lessons for both singles and couples, ensuring that everyone reaps the same rewards.
How long is a dance lesson?
Please be informed that both private and group lessons have a duration of 45 minutes. During this time, you will engage in 40 minutes of dancing, followed by a 5-minute review session with your dance instructor. This review will cover everything you have learned during the lesson.
Can I bring a friend?
Certainly, you are welcome to bring along any individual of your choice. However, kindly ensure that you inform the person responsible for booking the lesson. This will allow them to check if there is an available instructor who can accommodate both individuals.
I have two left feet; will I be able to learn?
At Arthur Murray Hampton, we have yet to encounter an individual who cannot learn to dance. Our lessons are specifically designed to cater to your unique needs, ensuring that you learn to dance at a pace that suits you perfectly.
Can I take only private lessons?
While private lessons form the core of your instructional program, we highly advise you to make use of the group lessons and practice parties in order to develop into a versatile social dancer. It is important to note that group lessons are already included in the overall cost of your program, regardless of whether you choose to participate in them or not.
Can I take only group lessons?
At Arthur Murray Hampton, our main focus is on private lessons to provide personalized instruction, while group lessons are designed to reinforce the skills learned in private sessions. Therefore, participation in group classes alone is not permitted.
How many people are in your group lessons?
We usually have a range of 5 to 15 participants in each group. Group classes serve the purpose of reinforcing the material covered in your private lessons. We offer various levels of groups, catering to beginners, Pre-Bronze, Bronze, and even styling.
Will it take long?
The duration of the course will vary based on the number of dances you wish to learn and the level of proficiency you aim to achieve in each dance. Rest assured, you will be able to dance after completing your initial lesson.
How much do lessons cost?
The price is determined by various factors such as your desired skill level, preferred dance styles, duration of your dance schedule, and more. Your initial lesson comes at no cost. Following this introductory session, your instructor will be able to suggest a suitable program based on your progress, empowering you to make a well-informed decision.
Does the fee have to be paid in advance?
There are multiple payment options at your disposal. If you wish, you have the flexibility to divide the fee into smaller instalments or conveniently pay with any major credit card.
